Coffee Filter Monsters:Students each got a coffee filter which they colored with markers and then we dipped them in water letting the colors bleed together. I cut out eyes and mouths for the monsters and students could choose between one big eye or three small eyes. They used glue sticks to glue their eyes and mouth on and then used markers to create a background. At the end of class students got to name their monsters and share a story about what their monsters do!
